TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Gables QuickBooks Utility Integration (“Application”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

The Application integrates with QuickBooks Online via Intuit’s secure API to facilitate the transmission and synchronization of authorized accounting data for operational and bookkeeping purposes.

The Application:

• Connects to QuickBooks Online using OAuth 2.0 authorization
• Retrieves or transmits approved accounting data
• Facilitates internal accounting and financial processes
• Does not independently modify financial records without user authorization

This Application is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit Inc., except as permitted under the QuickBooks Developer Program.

3. License Grant

The Gables of Fitchburg, LLC grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application solely for internal business purposes.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer or modify the Application
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access
• Use the Application in violation of applicable law

4. QuickBooks Authorization

By connecting your QuickBooks Online account, you authorize The Gables of Fitchburg to access the data scopes you approve through Intuit’s OAuth authorization process.

Access is limited strictly to the data necessary to perform the intended synchronization or utility functions.

You may revoke access at any time through your QuickBooks Online account settings.

5. Data Ownership

All accounting and financial data remains the sole property of the QuickBooks account holder.

The Gables of Fitchburg does not claim ownership of any QuickBooks data accessed through the Application.

6. Termination

Access to the Application may be suspended or terminated if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law
• Required by Intuit policy

Upon termination:

• OAuth tokens will be revoked
• Any retained QuickBooks data will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy

7. Disclaimer

The Application is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The Gables of Fitchburg does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or accuracy of synchronized financial data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law, The Gables of Fitchburg, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Application.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

PRIVACY POLICY

1. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

We may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Business or organizational information

B. QuickBooks Data (With Authorization)

When you connect QuickBooks Online, the Application may access only the data scopes you authorize. This may include:

• Invoices
• Customers
• Payments
• Vendors
• Chart of accounts
• Transaction summaries

The Application operates primarily as a pass-through integration and does not independently analyze, resell, or monetize accounting data.

2. How We Use Information

We use authorized data solely to:

• Synchronize accounting records
• Facilitate internal bookkeeping
• Support operational financial processes
• Provide technical support

We do not sell, rent, or trade financial data.

3. Data Storage and Security

The Application uses secure OAuth 2.0 authentication and encrypted HTTPS transmission.

QuickBooks login credentials are never stored.

If temporary data storage occurs for processing purposes, such data is encrypted and retained only as long as necessary for operational functionality.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.

Upon revocation of QuickBooks authorization or termination of service:

• OAuth tokens are revoked
• Stored QuickBooks data (if any) is deleted within 30 days

Users may request deletion by contacting the information below.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data.

Information may be shared only:

• With secure service providers under confidentiality obligations
• If required by law
• To comply with Intuit Developer requirements

6. Third-Party Services

This Application uses QuickBooks Online APIs provided by Intuit Inc.

Your use of QuickBooks is governed by Intuit’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

7. Security Measures

We implement commercially reasonable safeguards including:

• Encrypted HTTPS communication
• OAuth 2.0 secure authentication
• Restricted system access controls

8. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated periodically. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.

Our grandmother moved in to the Gables recently and it's been tremendous for her both physically and mentally. Gram still has her independence but now has the added value of the social setting and expert support when she needs it. She loves the food and everything is clean and efficiently run. From our perspective we really appreciated the professionalism and understand of the staff when going through the financial and logical aspects of the process. Thumbs up!

Moving a loved one into Assisted Living is never an easy decision. Patty, Chris, Kristen and their team have mastered this transition with professionalism and warmth. The moment you walk through the door the smiles and conversations between residents and staff attests to the bonds that have been created and the trust that exists. Residents are free to engage in numerous and varied activities or spend quiet time in their beautiful and newly renovated apartments. The dining experience comes with options to satisfy all appetites. Our experience at The Gables has been nothing short of exceptional and we are very thankful to all that have been part of this positive experience.

Ever since my first trip to the Gables to meet with Patti Peterson, I have always said that when it comes times for me to go to an assisted living facility, I would choose The Gables. Sure, the care is great and the staff are wonderful, and the food and activities are amazing - but you have to see the facility for yourself. The apartments are HUGE compared to a few other faculties in the area. And the location is perfect. Very quiet- right across the street is Coolidge Park - but close to downtown, the college and all that Fitchburg has to offer. I really like it there!

We needed to make the difficult decision to move my parents to a facility with more oversight to keep them safe. We are so glad that we chose The Gables! They were able to get us in quickly and put our minds at ease. Patti was wonderful-went above and beyond to walk us through every step. The nursing staff is wonderful! Our parents are safe and we have peace of mind. The apartment is very spacious and feels like home!

Familiar with the Gables from when my father-in-law lived there, it was the first place to come to mind when we started looking at places for my mom. I worked with Patty for several months before my mom moved in. She was always very helpful, accessible and caring. Mom has been at the Gables for a month now, and I have been able to relax knowing she is safe, and eating all the great food, and in knowing that the aides are always checking on her. We 100% made the right decision with the Gables... I thank each member of the staff for all they do, every day.

We are so grateful to the management and staff at the Gables for their support and assistance helping our loved one transition from home to assisted living. I can’t believe how well she is doing thanks largely to the friendly, supportive care and socialization she experiences every day with staff and other residents! It’s made a wonderful difference in her life and, consequently, in ours! I highly recommend the Gables!!

Our experience with the Gables has been nothing short of wonderful. Mom had such a difficult time deciding whether to go into assisted living. It helped her to first meet Patty who was warm, patient and accommodating while Mom made this life changing decision. Since arriving, we have found the Gables to be a family like atmosphere. The staff sincerely cares about the residents and works to create an engaging, friendly environment as well as never seeming too busy to be that friendly person to talk to on a lonely day. The Activities Director Jason keeps things lively and works to include all levels of ability. We have slept peacefully knowing the nursing staff is overseeing mom’s needs. I have needed to work closely with Kristen and Cindy who are knowledgeable professionals, easy to work with and helpful in guiding me through the difficulties of an aging parent. Have we had a few bumps along the way? Sure, that’s to be expected, however how it is handled is what matters. The Executive Director Chris readily works with you and across disciplines to resolve concerns promptly or to help create solutions. Transitioning to assisted living is not easy on our parents but doing it in a facility like the Gables is as close to home as you can get. 5 stars.

After an unfortunate accident, our Mom could no longer live alone. She has lived in Fitchburg all of her life. Our family chose the Gables because of its location and accommodations. Mom’s apartment is roomy, overlooks a park and it bright and cheery. Transition from independent living to assisted living was a challenge for Mom as she was reluctant to give up her independence. We found that the staff at the Gables supported the transition including coordinating with the skilled nursing facility she was released from and providing all the information we needed as a family to make the move as smooth as possible. Covid restrictions made this even more of a challenge! The Gables was flexible and gave us the time needed to set up the apartment and ensure that Mom was comfortable from day one. The maintenance staff even helped with hanging a heavy mirror and installing a handicap commode. When needed we had access to the administration and Nursing management to help us navigate the options for medication support and to understand the assessment of Mom’s physical needs. The staff was professional and patient when encouraging Mom to have meals in the dinning room and to participate in other activities offered for socialization. Since moving to the Gables Mom is gaining strength and showing continual improvement. We are grateful for all the Gables does to keep Mom safe and well cared for. Thank you!

This place is THE BEST!!!! My 89 year old mother needed to be in an Assisted Living environment. She was living independently until last November in NY, when she fell and fractured her hip. We realized that she could no longer live alone. We found the Gables and Mom hasn't looked back!!!! It is privately owned so you don't get the "chain" feel of service. The community is the perfect size where it is not overwhelmingly too large. It is beautifully maintained. The people, from the very first contact you make, are amazing and so very helpful and accommodating. Mom's apartment is incredibly spacious, her kitchen is quite large and she has this unbelievable balcony that she just loves. There was a welcome size on her door when she moved in. The staff is just incredible. They are so genuinely kind and always so very helpful. After 1 week there, my mother felt at home, safe and comfortable. She did not feel any apprehension at all. WHAT A RELIEF! The apartment is well cleaned for her once a week. She goes to the dining room for her 3 meals a day. (She has decided that the kitchen is quite nice, but her cooking days are over.) She talks about how they truly cater to her dietary needs, and how the chef comes out to say hello. The staff took the time to introduce her to other residents on day 1. The activity and entertainment calendar always has something she is interested in. Someone checks in on her daily a few times throughout the course of the day to see if she needs any assistance with anything. She joked that the garbage can never gets full before it's emptied. Her bed is made for her everyday. Her linens are laundered once a week. Thanks to the Gables, mom isn't just sitting all day watching tv or reading, she has things to do and people to see.... literally! She looks forward to going to the dining room and socializing with other residents. She looks forward to the activities that she chooses to participate in.... movie nights, the BIG crossword puzzle, musical entertainment on the patio, the chair exercise class, etc. Finding the Gables was truly a blessing for our family and most especially for our mother.
